The IDF “Olive Branches” humanitarian aid delegation has officially concluded and the teams have safely made it back to Israel.
Here is a summary of what our delegation accomplished during their time in Türkiye.

An IDF bus accidentally entered the Qalandia refugee camp, south of Ramallah. Palestinians surrounded the bus and rioted, throwing rocks at it. As a result, an IDF officer and two soldiers were lightly injured. Israeli forces fired into the air to disperse the riot.

An Israeli Air Force flight cadet and flight instructor (res.) from the IAF Flight Academy were killed in an aircraft crash in southern Israel earlier today. Their families have been notified.

In honor of Israeli Memorial Day, the "Flag for the Fallen" ceremony was held on Mt. Herzl in Jerusalem. IDF soldiers placed Israeli flags on the graves of all those who fell defending Israel.
