Overnight, 2 IDF officers were killed during a security patrol near an IDF base in the Jordan Valley. The officers were misidentified & mistakenly killed by IDF fire.
The families of the officers were notified. We send our heartfelt condolences & will continue to support them.

The Israeli and @usairforce just concluded the 'Desert Falcon' joint exercise in Israel. Our aircrews flew wing-to-wing & trained for various aerial scenarios & strikes.
The exercise further strengthened our cooperation & readiness to face any threat.

Col. Itzhak Yavneh is a legend of the Israeli Air Force.
He was one of the first pilots and senior officers of the IAF.
After completing his training in 1949, he led many operations as an IAF commander.
Last week, Itzhak passed away aged 98.
