Do not harrass any of the AOT staff if the adaptation/animation is poor! They’re working off of a hellish schedule and you can’t even imagine how much the staff are suffering. Everybody RT this and spread it as far as humanly possible, since I feel it’s gonna be important.

The AOT fanbase is a disease. Why are these dumb motherfuckers harassing the staff? The person they're harassing didn't even work on the episode, which doesn't matter since they shouldn't be fucking doing it anyways. Genuinely braindead people.

Anime studio wars are so unbelievably meaningless

Haikyuu fans are so used to their adaptation being super polished, that it’s a shock to them to see what happens to most anime at some point during air. A somewhat melty looking episode or two is normal for TV anime. (Actually, it’s normal for lots of shows to be mostly melt.)

When will anitwitter learn that almost every anime is built upon the backs of overworked creators, no matter what studio it's from? (aside from KyoAni) People are freaked out about a director's recent tweet, as if that sort of thing is uncommon. It's almost all exploitative.

MHA fans understandably are a bit miffed at a scene that was changed from the LO to the final version seen in today's episode, but I don't think many know why that happened. Simply put, it's a matter of schedule limitations.

So to no one's surprise, greenlighting ungodly amounts of anime projects and stretching the talent pool in the industry extremely thin while also demanding those projects be produced in extremely short amounts of time is not working out too well...

The OP for Horimiya, directed/boarded by Masashi Ishihama is fantastic. Each shot was eye-catching, with deliberate choices in shot composition as well as other little details throughout that tie back to the characters emotions very well and just look beautiful overall.

Heads up, there's another person pretending to work on anime. They have a history of stealing/tracing over other people's art. I DM'd them directly about it at first and they went into full denial. They also sent a clip and claimed it was their work, but it was someone else's.

I should probably also get this off my chest. Anime production is a fucking joke. The industry sucks, not just because of the deadlines and pay, but because it's so poorly managed. I really hate to say this, but don't work on anime. It's only gonna get worse.

I'm doing some 2nd KA for this! Please watch it when it releases! 🙏 twitter.com/bclover_PR/sta…

state of the anime industry makes me sad studios are hiring people that are so far from ready to participate in a professional production, then leaving the hellish mess to be fixed by enshutsu and sakkan... and the person who did the LO will never know anything was ever wrong

With her first return to TV anime since DBS #131, Megumi Ishitani directed one of OP's strongest episodes by far with #957. Every layout was remarkable. This was a feat not only extraordinary for a long running anime, but for TV anime in general.

I see a lot of confusion on here regarding the terminology of the genga (原画) process in anime, so I'm going to try my best to explain it in this thread.

One example of an animator’s work schedule. Mostly 13-17 hour days, no overtime pay. The anime industry is extremely cruel. twitter.com/hide12862152/s…
