mom didn't have a lot growing up. sometimes she only had one egg for dinner and usually went to bed hungry, but she moved here to give her kids a better life. i’m grateful for all my mom has given me, and above all i’m grateful for my own life. thanks mom. i’ll always love you.❤️

my mom suddenly passed away this week. things are difficult right now, but i hope each day will get easier. in life, unexpected things can happen, so please spend time with your loved ones and show them how much you care about them… and please take care of yourselves too.

wrote a young staff member a check the other day. when i came back to him later, he was still staring at it for some reason. but then he looked up at me with a big smile and said “this is the first check i’ve ever received.” it made me so happy. i’m still thinking about it now…
