Instead, we're getting Team Deathmatch for the first three weeks.
6v6, first to 30 kills wins round, win two rounds to win the match. You select loadouts just like Control.

After three weeks, Team Deathmatch will be replaced by the new ‘Mixtape’ playlist.
This is a permanent playlist that will cycle through TDM, Control and Gun Run. In the future, Mixtape will have more LTMs added, old and new.

In Season 16, the Hemlok is going into supply drops, removed from Ground Loot.
It is getting a major buff, with increased damage, increased headshot multiplier, and comes with boosted loader.
Rampage LMG returns to floor loot.

Volt SMG and Longbow DMR will be placed in crafters at the start of Season 16.

The Firing Range is getting an update this season – and more Firing Range updates are coming in the next seasons too.
This season, there is infinite ammo, new dynamic stats for accuracy and more, and lots of new settings for bots including shield level, strafe speed, crouching.

The R-301 is being nerfed in Season 16, with damage reduced from 14 to 13.
Additionally, all assault rifles will now have reduced hip fire accuracy. This is to make ARs less powerful at close range, where SMGs, Shotguns and Pistols should dominate. #ApexLegends
