The current SBMM (skill-based matchmaking) system in Apex Legends is going to be changed within the next couple of months, per Respawn Technical Director.
It will no longer base skill rating on the highest-rated player in the party, but instead "something else."

In Season 13, when you are out of bounds on the map, you won't be able to use:
- Legends Abilities
- Weapons or Nades
- Survival Items
- Healing items (Will not cancel mid healing)
- All Active Passives (e.g. Valks Jet Packs)
