Today's chainsaw man ep is directed by touko yatabe, they were the assistant director for the evangelion 3.0 + 1.0 movie.
Their direction is focused on wide shots, a more focused approach with not too many camera cuts letting the moments breathe which is perfect for today's ep.

He served as the series director for black clover and delieved some incredible action epsiodes even with it being a weekly Anime.

I know everyone's ideal style for the anime will be different but lets not act like the anime is bland or anything.
The way it has adapted both the grim darker elements and fun action is perfect

This would be a Highlight character acting cut in most animes but its a normal cut for an csm ep
To think even such tiny details are getting so much effort put into it shows how hard it's team is at work making this the best adaptation they possibly can
