About 100, 000 teachers from the basic education sector were dismissed by SAC! It indicates they lack any control over education sector. We will have to take things into our own hands for the education of our children under the leadership of @NUGMyanmar's education ministry.
How pathetic
ASEAN needs to show Myanmar people concrete results from tomorrow's Summit. Otherwise, it's just an insult to the people who have sacrificed so much to push the movement forward. ASEAN should not undermine us but support us. Engage with @NUGMyanmar!
The international community needs to see these photos to understand how passionately people are resisting against the military rule. People literally crossed the river this way when soldiers shut down the ports to prevent people from joining the protests. Photos: credit
Let us be very clear on where we stand on Rohingya (including inside Rakhine state and now in IDP camps in Bangladesh). Their citizenship rights and human rights must be fully respected. They must have their voices represented in government. We are rebuilding our nation!
The coup is failing. SAC is failing. But SAC seems intent to go till the end dragging the whole country with them. International community shouldn’t let that happen.
People are banging pots, honking cars and holding cards in Yangon to show CNN’s @clarissaward their dissent towards the military junta. We suspect the junta cuts down the electricity to stop people’s coordination through WiFi internet. #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar #Mar31Coup

UNSC and @ASEAN should know that the military junta doesn't give any attention to their empty statements! Time for action! More people murdered today! @antonioguterres @SchranerBurgen1 @RapporteurUn @Menlu_RI @VivianBala
We need #GlobalPressureAgainstTorture. Many detainees were killed by SAC in detention. We couldn’t let that continue.

The doctor pleaded to give her just 15 mins to close the wounds on the boy’s head but was cruelly denied by police. The only thing she could do was tearfully telling him that “You will be okay”. These inhumane treatment of innocent civilians will be held accountable. #Feb20Coup

It has been one month since ASEAN summit and @ASEAN still couldn’t even come up with the simple job of naming Special Envoy. How could we expect ASEAN to take the leading role in solving Myanmar crisis?
We are concerned about the situation in HlaingTharYar township where martial law had been declared. We would like to appeal to international community to give HlaingTharYar township full media attention to prevent atrocities being committed by the military junta.
Hundreds of people attended the #GlobalSpringRevolutionDay rally in Hakha, Chin state. They have a message for @ASEAN “We don’t want fake friends. We support @NUGMyanmar.” #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar #ASEANengageNUG

Why is @WHO silent over arrest, torture and murder faced by their medical colleagues in Myanmar? Speak out and add your voice! Pressure the murderous regime!
“Myanmar’s coup is uniting a country riven by ethnic divisions. Will it last?” Yes it will. And we will succeed in building federal democracy. vox.com/22412118/myanm…

Police officers from No. 18 police division from the capital ❗️Naypyitaw join CDM movement as they don’t want to work under the junta. They declare they are loyal only to the civilian government. Let’s embrace our brave police officers. Source: Myanmar Harp Media
