(1/3) In addition to the mental trauma the people in Myanmar are going through, this sort of unkind comment really ignored the struggle of many ethnic minority groups as well as the Burmese majority who had again and again fought back against the military dictatorship.
Successful silent strike at Mintat, Chin State on 14.3.2021
We don’t expect the success of a revolution to depend on billionaires’ goodwill. But the level of discrimination against and the neglect of international community over the plight of Myanmar people is getting to the ridiculous point. Why don’t we deserve the same kind of help??? twitter.com/cvdom2021/stat…
This is a great thread. We urge ‘concerned’ international community to read this. twitter.com/ZtozM/status/1…
Worries about ‘state collapse’ and ‘state failure’ in Myanmar seen in some Western and East Asian media miss the point — rather, [CDM] keeps the legitimate state alive and takes down the imaginary reality of an ongoing criminal take over. twitter.com/wjmd/status/14…

We will fight our own fight but int’l community needs to - recognize and start engaging with @NUGMyanmar - stop providing legitimacy and money to genocidal murderers SAC terrorist council - kick out SAC diplomats and military attachés from their countries. We need actions!
How much does int’l community actually care? Well, they called murderers ‘honorable gentlemen’ who kept bombing schools and instilling fear in students. Of course, it’s an “admin mistake”. For them, we are just numbers and names on paper. Are we not?
Suspend SAC from ASEAN, but don’t suspend Myanmar. Engage with @NUGMyanmar. No need to isolate the already ABANDONED PEOPLE. @SecBlinken
DON’T DO IT, JAPAN!!!!! twitter.com/TeppeiKasai/st…
General Strike Coordination Body (@GscbMyanmar) has requested journalists not to post any photos/news about the military parade to be held by power-crazy SAC generals tomorrow. #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar
SAC military is committing unspeakable crimes against the civilians of Myanmar. The int’l community must treat them as terrorists as they are. #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar
至急に軍事政権への経済制裁、そして日本国内にいるミャンマー軍事関係者を強制送還すべきだ。かつての日本政府の旧ミャンマー軍事政権への姿勢は今回は絶対に通用しない❕ @ToruTakaNIKKEI @kanariryuichi @ishibashi2010 @TeppeiKasai

The talk about ‘rule of law’ means nothing in a country where you could get shot for hanging a banner, or persecuted for clapping or arrested for staying home. Dear world, how could you stay doing ‘nothing’ when such atrocities are happening? #WhatsHappeninglnMyanmar twitter.com/Thet_Swe_Win/s…
Implement or not, SAC does not see @ASEAN’s 5-point consensus more than a delaying tool. It’s to stall and pacify the international outrage as they prepare to hold on to power and kill more people. In the end, it will be same old bullshit.
After Covid-19, governments around the world know very well how hard it is to ask people to simply stay at home. Look at what Myanmar people achieved today with a nationwide #SilentStrike. It’s such an amazing feat of human commitment and unity without using any coercive force.
Day 12 after @ASEAN gave ultimatum to SAC SAC is burning, looting and killing in defiance of ASEAN 5-point consensus. Time to back up words with actions, respectfully ministers! @PeacePalaceKH @VivianBala @Menlu_RI @saifuddinabd @SecManalo
SAC military is a terrorist entity and if @PeacePalaceKH and @ASEAN invited its defence minister, they are fostering terrorists in the region.
SAC is terrorist organization. We urge @ASEAN to stop pretending they could be reformed. Cut all remaining ties with terrorists. @VivianBala @Menlu_RI @saifuddinabd @PeacePalaceKH
