I've known for years that U.A. is just a wordplay on "hero", turning Eiyuu (英雄) into Yuuei (雄英), but I'm just now noticing that it's the same thing with Shiketsu. Horikoshi took Kesshi (傑士), another word for hero, swapped the syllables and turned it into Shiketsu (士傑)

I think MHA, more than any other modern shonen, is a high investment -> high reward manga. People who take that extra step into it will get much more out of the series, and that explains why some people aren't quite feeling it anymore. Let's use this La Brava scene as an example
