As a 6 year old Scandinavian child unfamiliar with both the Japanese “onigiri” and the American “donut”, due to the 4kids dub of Pokemon, I was under the assumption donuts were made with rice and had jelly inside.
I even tried to make some “donuts” with my grandma.
