Was watching this interview and Hori mentioned that Katsuki and Deku get along well here 🥲 (this sketch was made 1 year+ before MHA serialization). Bkg’s name was still Gougou but this prototype Gougou’s personality was already similar with the current Bakugo.

#MHA310 I personally believe the reason why Hori designed the 2nd user looking like Bakugo is mostly to emphasize the parallels between 2nd user - Yoichi = Deku - Bakugo Yes the parallel of the relationship is in that order

#MHA310 As I said before, in the original raw, Yoichi (1st user) was actually saying マイヒーロー (my hero) in english. So for native english speakers, the feeling is probably equal to him suddenly saying “boku no hero” in the midst of speaking all english 😂
