South Korean comedian, singer and host Ji Seokjin, praised BTS Jin’s personality on his Youtube video, saying that he texted Jin to say sorry for singing Dynamite badly on a variety show before, and Jin replied: "If that helps the song even a bit, I’m rather thankful for that."

Jin: I don’t think my looks overshadow my singing. Looking good it’s actually a plus factor, not a minus. Ofcourse, looks could distract you a little, but I think it’s an additional factor and not something that takes away something. It’s like adding decoration on delicious food.
