beast!dazai really fucked it up by keeping chuuya so close to him and making chuuya dependent on him emotionally...... and now there's no way chuuya can keep the peace of the world dazai so painstakingly built after dazai's gone [gestures at beast movie ending]

dead apple is so funny because it is established that no longer human is always active, so chuuya's corruption would have nullified the moment he punched dazai, which means dazai tenderly held chuuya's face for no reason other than to be gay and dramatic ....
