Today, on Lunar New Year, I turned 60.
Normally I absolutely hate receiving birthday wishes, but turning 60 is something—I’m a little taken back that I somehow survived to reach such an age.

This year, I’m embarking on projects involving factors that hadn’t been part of my life so far, including NFT drops and the release of a tiny game machine. So I pray to the Buddha and myriad gods to keep me going just a little longer.

Bonnō, or kleshas, in Buddhist tenet, are mental states that disturb and trouble the mind and body, hindering wisdom, and there are supposedly 108 of them. 👉

👉 In Buddhism, the cause of human suffering is considered to be one's own bonnō, and the path to liberation and nirvana has been sought by grasping and overcoming the causes of bonnō. 👉
