WHAT, NEW CONTENT! Gen 1 starter quartet by Ken Sugimori, appeared on the promo poster for the 1999 "Pokémon Song Best Collection" CD (featuring only that very Pikachu on the cover). This illust also appeared on the telephone card celebrating 10mil copies sold, link in thread.

We've finally finished this series of Pokémon Trainer Artwork! It was probably drawn during the Yellow Pokémon period. (We used scans from the "Can You Play Pokémon?" booklet, a music album released in Japan in 1998).
