cherry magic the movie - making off moments i thought were cute: a very low quality thread for those who might not be able to get the blu-ray🍒
drama adachi was insecure. he didn't think anyone would ever really love him. he was satisfied with just existing. movie adachi still has his worries, but he has grown. he knows he is loved and he loves strongly in return. he has a future to look forward to.
this parallel made me SCREAM. see, how they're in the same spot? how both times kurosawa was the one showing weakness, breaking down and how both times adachi was his support?
i think the entirety of cherry magic has blended both fairy tale and reality in a hopeful yet honest way. the movie gave insight into the hardships of what it can mean to simply be yourself sometimes. it speaks for equality and acceptance and i need everyone to know that.
honorary mention of this scene of kurodachi looking at their rings because it is absolutely PERFECT
adachi: [breaks up with kurosawa for like 2 days] kurosawa: i am proposing after this adachi: [works 2 weeks somewhere else] kurosawa: i am asking him to move in with me ASAP
adachi and kurosawa both wanted all of their loved ones to know about them. they took that scary step into uncertainty, not knowing if they're going to be met with approval. but they were.
cherry magic movie blu-ray release in 7 days. that is one week. that is 168 hours. the end is near. there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
you know you're down bad when you start searching up an actor's whole filmography
