me watching a show that clearly deserves a second season but it never comes
i want to take a moment and recommend "until rainbow dawn" to you. it's a queer movie directed by mika imai that addresses both deaf and queer people's issues. it has a deaf cast and mika herself is part of the deaf and lgtbq+ community, as well.🤍
cherry twt: [burning, falling apart, filled with screaming, yelling, fighting, looking like a battlefield] eiji: so guys i put this clothes hanger on my head and twitter.com/akasoeiji/stat…
happy birthday, akaso eiji! thank you for all the amazing performances you have brought so far and you will continue to bring in the future.
kurosawa and adachi are the equivalent of historians calling two obviously homosexual lovers "good friends". you never see them really kiss, but in every second breath they profess their undying love for each other.
shows like cherry magic and kieta hatsukoi were so amazing to me all i do now is wait for new shows that make me feel the way i've felt when watching them
now that jack o frost has ended i want to recommend this drama to everyone who hasn't seen it yet. it's absolutely beautiful.
drama adachi was insecure. he didn't think anyone would ever really love him. he was satisfied with just existing. movie adachi still has his worries, but he has grown. he knows he is loved and he loves strongly in return. he has a future to look forward to.
both cherry magic and kieta hatsukoi airing around the same time just one year apart is actually no coincidence. they didn't give us both the same year because it could've potentially killed all of us. i know this.
