When scanning high quality it turns out that young Calaba’s hair is actually a dark green instead of black as it originally appeared (I even thought I was black when just looking at the book)
Additionally her skin tone isn’t as different as it originally appeared.

It’s really making me anxious XD

They contain makeup (left and middle) and sewing tools (right)

Captain Kamado most likely originates from the Johto region.
At one point in the game he drops all formalities in speech and uses Kansai dialect/ben which originates from Kansai or in the Pokémon world, Johto.
Additionally as for his armor rather than pure European style I
