#spookyseason is officially open, so y'all get a #pixelart #graveyard based on the real one by the place where I live, in Tuscany. There are more graves, but not 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺. It's a calm, small country graveyard. A sweet place from my childhood.

Fun fact: I originally made the environment for @_formulamagica's Old Good Times, then I started adding sprites. It's inspired by a real place, as usual: a riverbank in my town. Year 2002: a backpack and a bike was all I needed!

My burnout is kind of severe by now, so I looked for inspiration in my past work. I rediscovered this gbc zelda-like project I and a friend started in 2015. I polished my graphic work a bit and, fell in love with the concept once again. I think I'm indeed rebooting "Wayfarest".

I basically went for the facade only at the very beginning, then moved to depth and decor. As you can see, lots of copy/paste involved, and colors changed a lot too!
