This photo illustrates why I think the silver webbing on the Raimi suit was a fantastic idea. Simple black webbing, while still good, can look muddy or be hard to distinguish in some lighting but look at the Raimi costume. It pops! The silver makes it very appealing to the eyes.

Tobey's narrating in the Raimi Trilogy is the closest thing we've had to comic book thought bubbles in live action Spider-Man movies and I think that's pretty neat.
