Spider-Man: The New Animated Series premiered today, 19 years ago! This short-lived MTV program had a more mature tone and is very underrated. I think it’s a lot better than what many lead you to believe.

Spider-Man 2 (2004) ‘First, we’ll see who’s behind the mask. I can look into your eyes as you die.’
It’s actually really cool that Hot Toys decided to base their new figure off of the suit in Spider-Man 3, rather than the one in NWH like everyone else is doing. I think they nailed it.

@DiscussingFilm I hope more stories like this come out and show how poorly these people are treated. VFX artists make up for the majority of the visuals on screen, these movies wouldn’t be able to exist without them.
@DiscussingFilm The reason CGI looks poor on a lot of these projects is not because of the workers but rather the studios who overwork these people and set terrible deadlines. I can guarantee that if they payed these artists properly and gave them enough time, the output would be 100x better.

Comparison between the 2011 Spider-Man 3 figure and the new NWH figure. I love how they did the suit this time around. The materials look more premium, it has a nice sheen and texture and the webbing is thinner. Can’t wait to pick it up.
