To myself I think it's a shame not knowing the meaning and cultural importance of the art styles we use. styles are not just meant to be "visually pleasing". the info it contains go way beyond subjective aesthetics.

theoretically in order to have the exact same style, two ppl must share the exact same value of aesthetics, which is resulted from all the past experience and knowlegde. this is nearly impossible. this answers the "coincidence of similar art style" questions.
